Collegiate soccer is returning to Round Rock for the second consecutive year. The 2022 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship will be played over two weekends at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex, opening with quarterfinal matches on Sunday, Oct. 30. The semifinals will take place on Thursday, November 3 with the final on Sunday, November 6.

“We are thrilled to welcome the 2022 Sprouts Farmers Market Big 12 Soccer Championship to Round Rock for the second consecutive year,” said Chad McKenzie, Director, Sports Management and Tourism. “The Big 12 Conference is one of the most respected athletic conferences in the country. When we host conferences of this caliber, and other premier sport organizations, and they decide to return to our facilities, we know that we are doing something right. We look forward to welcoming the Big 12 Conference, the players, and their families to Round Rock once again.”

Round Rock’s Multipurpose Complex is a 60-acre world-class facility offering a variety of fields, permanent seating with shade structures, and other amenities perfect for a variety of sports tournaments and events.  Last year, the complex accommodated 4,345 attendees which was the highest attendance since 2009.

“Round Rock strongly supported the Championship last year, so we are excited to return and continue to grow the event,” said Dayna Scherf, Executive Associate Commissioner of the Big 12 Conference. “This Championship is the culmination of our soccer season, so it is fitting to have it at a venue like the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex that has unique offerings and a professional staff which takes great pride in conducting a first-class event. Our teams and fans appreciate the number of nearby hotels, restaurants, and variety of things to do in the community.”

Ticket prices for the event are $5 for a one-day pass or $12 for a three-day All-Session pass. Groups of 10-or-more can purchase a one-day pass for $4. All tickets will be digital and can be purchased at
