No injuries in Sunday house fire

At 1:22 a.m. Sunday, March 30, Round Rock Fire Department units received a report of a structure that was on fire at 204 Fannin Ave. The house was occupied at the time.

Residents said their dog alerted them to the fire.

The first Fire Department units arrived at 1:27 a.m. to find the occupants outside with heavy fire coming from the rear of the building and through the second story. Additional units were requested and the fire was extinguished around 2:51 a.m.

There were no injuries during the incident.

Damage is estimated at $300,000.

After salvage and overhaul and a final check for hot spots, the last Fire Department units cleared the scene at 6:55 a.m.

Atmos Gas and Oncor Electric companies also responded to the incident to secure building utilities.

The fire origin is undetermined at this time.
