No injuries reported in apartment fire

At 11:06 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, Round Rock Fire Department units responded to a reported structure fire at 1200 S. Mays St.

The first Fire Department units arrived at 11:11 p.m. and reported a fire on the second-floor balcony of a residential apartment complex. A second alarm was initiated, and crews quickly extinguished the fire and checked for extension in the surrounding areas. 

Occupants were out of the structure when firefighters arrived. There were no injuries. Residents from two units were displaced as a result of the damage.

Fire crews contained and extinguished the fire in approximately 30 minutes.

The cause of the fire is undetermined.
