Police Crisis Negotiation Team takes first place

Congratulations to the Round Rock Police Department’s Crisis Negotiations Team for taking first place in the 24th Annual Competition and Seminar for Crisis Negotiations.

Texas State University and the Department of Criminal Justice host the multi-day event on the Texas State campus every year. RRPD’s team beat out 25 other teams from across the country.
Team members participated in a mock hostage situation where judges praised the RRPD’s CNT for its excellent team chemistry and skills, such as active listening.
