At 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, Round Rock Police Officers responded to a Burglary in Progress call in the 900 block of Hyridge Street.

The caller reported someone had forced entry into the front door at the residence. The occupants at the location fled after intruder(s) entered.

Officers arrived at the residence and observed a black male at the front door. The suspect ran and officers began to chase him on foot. Officers lost sight of the subject. The surrounding areas in the neighborhood were checked for suspect(s). Officers were unable to locate the man. The incident is still under investigation.

No arrests have been made at this time.
