On Thursday, Nov 13, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Round Rock Police responded to reports of a shooting at 403 W. Main Street in the Downtown Round Rock area.

Upon arrival, officers found an adult victim with multiple gunshot wounds. Lifesaving measures were performed, but the individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. The person of interest was later located near the 500 block of West Liberty Avenue and was found deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Preliminary information indicates this was an isolated incident involving parties known to one another. There is no ongoing threat to the public, and the investigation remains ongoing.
