Round Rock celebrates milestone as Fire Station 10 construction progresses

The City of Round Rock held a topping out ceremony on Nov. 18, 2025, to celebrate the completion of the highest structural point of Fire Station 10. Attendees signed the final beam before its placement, and staff raised the station’s flag to mark the milestone.

Fire Station 10 is under construction at 4380 E. Old Settlers Blvd., with completion anticipated in fall 2026. The station will serve the growing northeastern side of Round Rock.

Round Rock City Council selected Braun & Butler Construction in February as the contractor for the $9.1 million project. The station uses the City’s prototype fire station design, a cost-saving model that standardizes construction elements and reduces architectural expenses. McKinney York Architects refreshed the plans to comply with current building codes and maintain consistency with previous stations.

Fire Station 10 is one of three new fire station buildings approved by voters in the May 2023 bond election. That election authorized $44 million in public safety-related investments, including new fire stations, improvements to public safety facilities and other infrastructure supporting long-term emergency response needs.

With the topping out complete, the project now shifts to interior construction and site development as crews work toward the station’s full build-out. For more information on Round Rock’s 2023 GO Bond projects, visit roundrocktexas.gov/bond.
