City of Round Rock wins 10 national awards for communications

The City of Round Rock earned 10 national awards for communications and marketing in 2026, receiving eight awards from the City-County Communications and Marketing Association (3CMA) and two from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA).

The awards recognized the City’s Communications and Marketing Department for its innovative use of social media, video storytelling, humor and public information campaigns to engage residents and communicate important City initiatives.

3CMA Awards

The City received four Savvy Awards, the competition’s highest honor, along with two Silver Circle Awards and two Awards of Excellence.

NATOA Awards

The City also received two Awards of Distinction, representing second-place honors, in NATOA’s Government Programming Awards competition.

The Savvy Awards competition recognizes outstanding local government achievements in communications, public-sector marketing and citizen-government relationships. For more than 30 years, the awards have celebrated city, county, agency and district professionals who have developed creative and effective approaches to government communications and marketing.

3CMA is the nation’s premier network of local government communicators, providing training, resources and recognition for professionals who use strategic communications and marketing to engage residents.

NATOA’s Government Programming Awards recognize excellence in broadcast, cable, multimedia and electronic programming produced by local governments to inform and engage their communities. The national competition highlights innovative approaches to public information, education and government transparency.
