Round Rock offers spook-tacular events this October

With the arrival of October, Round Rock is gearing up for a month filled with spooky fun and community engagement. Be sure to check out these great events:

Downtown Round Rock will be transformed into a Halloween adventure with local businesses along East Main Street offering sweet treats. This event will have giveaways, activities and interactive experiences and a live concert from FreezeFrame that will keep the party going! Best of all, this gathering is absolutely free. So, dust off your costumes, dress to impress and get ready for a wickedly good time at Hometown Halloween in Downtown Round Rock. 

Fall Fest/Halloween Fun Concert
Saturday, Oct. 14, at 7:30 pm
Prete Plaza, 221 E. Main St.

Head over to Prete Plaza for a free concert hosted by the Williamson County Symphony Orchestra — the perfect way to kickstart your Halloween spirit. 

Spookout Soccer Tournament
Friday & Saturday, Oct. 20 to 21
Round Rock Multipurpose Complex, 2001 N. Kenney Fort Blvd.

Get your kicks at the annual Spookout 3v3 Soccer Tournament, taking place at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. Aside from thrilling soccer action, there’s a costume contest, face painting, a DJ and plenty of treats to enjoy. 

Trunk or Treat Halloween Event
Saturday, Oct. 21, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Seton Medical Center Williamson (201 Seton Parkway)

Bring the whole family to Seton Medical Center Williamson for a unique trick-or-treating experience designed for individuals with disabilities and their families. This free event features cars lined up in the parking lot, ready to hand out candy. Jump from trunk to trunk and trick or treat to your heart’s content! 

Trunk or Treat Halloween Event (PD)
Saturday, Oct. 21, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Public Safety Training Center (2801 N Mays Street)

Round Rock Operation Blue Santa, in partnership with the Round Rock Police Department, is hosting its 10th annual Trunk-or-Treat event. Get your costumes and load up the kiddos for this FREE walk-thru event! There will be food vendors, music, a haunted house, and activities for the whole family!

Library Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Round Rock Public Library (200 E. Liberty Ave.)

Starting on Wednesday, Oct. 25, get creative and decorate a pumpkin or gourd as your favorite book character or with a literary theme. Drop off your masterpiece at the Round Rock Public Library children’s desk by Monday, Oct. 30. 

Nosferatu Movie
Saturday Oct. 21, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Yonders Point at Old Settlers Park, 3103 Aten Loop

Grab your blankets and chairs and enjoy a free outdoor screening of the original vampire movie! Featuring the music soundtrack played live by the Central Texas Philharmonic.

Fall Fun Festival
Tuesday Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Old Settlers Park, 3400 E. Palm Valley Blvd.

Last but not least, bring the kids to enjoy a Fall Fun Festival featuring Old McDonald, games, a petting zoo, hayrides and more. We ask that you bring a canned good to donate to the Round Rock Food Pantry.
