Round Rock Arts Fest and Chalk Walk draws thousands to Dell Diamond

The annual Round Rock Arts Fest and Chalk Walk returned this year with a display of talent, creativity and community spirit. The event, which took place Oct. 7-8 at Dell Dimaond, drew thousands of attendees and showcased the vibrant arts scene of Round Rock.

The Round Rock Arts Fest and Chalk Walk is an annual event that celebrates the arts and culture of Round Rock. The festival features chalk muralists, musicians, vendors, performers and artists, providing a platform for local talent to showcase their skills and for the community to come together in appreciation of art and music.

This year’s festival featured an impressive lineup of 60 chalk muralists who transformed pavement into masterpieces ranging from abstract patterns to lifelike portraits. The event also included more than 100 performers, as well as vendors selling their artwork, community groups and non-profits.

The theme for this year’s Chalk Walk centered around bees, as Round Rock was recently designated as a Bee City. Bee City USA provides a framework for communities to come together to conserve native pollinators by providing them with a healthy habitat.

This event was organized by the City of Round Rock’s Arts and Culture Division. To learn more about upcoming arts events, visit www.roundrocktexas.gov/arts.
