Kids and teens facing food scarcity during the summer months are welcome to enjoy a free, nutritious meal at the Round Rock Public Library every Friday from June 14 through Aug. 2.
Meals will be available in Meeting Room A from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and will be distributed on a first come, first served basis to children 0 to 18 years of age. There is no enrollment, no proof of need required, and no cost for this program.
Summer lunches at the library are provided by a partnership with the Central Texas Food Bank to fill nutrition gaps families may face when schools are closed. Don’t let our neighborhood kids go hungry – if you are aware of families experiencing a nutrition gap this summer, please share this information with them.
