The Round Rock Police Department has arrested a suspect following a narcotics investigation.

On October 31, 2025, officers executed a search warrant at The Creek Apartments, located at 1525 East Palm Valley Blvd. During the operation, 40-year-old Ira Jamon Mitchell was arrested for manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance in Penalty Group 1, a first-degree felony.

Officers seized a variety of narcotics, a firearm, several hundred rounds of ammunition, and multiple sets of body armor. Mitchell, a convicted felon with several prior violent offenses, is prohibited from possessing body armor.

Mitchell was booked into the Williamson County Jail, and additional charges are pending.
