Survey seeks public input on fair housing in Central Texas

The City of Round Rock is encouraging residents to take a survey as part of a regional effort to identify impediments to fair housing in Central Texas.

Round Rock is participating in a collaborative planning process with nine other local jurisdictions, including Williamson County, Travis County and other local agencies, to conduct a regional housing study. While many factors impact affordability in the region, officials will use new data and insight from the study to update fair housing choice strategies.

The survey is designed to take approximately 15 minutes to complete and includes questions about challenges participants face in their housing situations or neighborhoods, as well as their housing search. Participants can enter for the chance to win a $100 Visa gift card at the end of the survey. The last date to take the survey is June 30, 2018.
