Professional softball has arrived in Round Rock as the Texas Volts began their inaugural home season this week at Dell Diamond, bringing some of the sport’s top athletes to one of Central Texas’ premier sports venues.
The Texas Volts are part of the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL), a six-team professional league featuring elite players from across the country. Dell Diamond will serve as the team’s home field for the 2026 season, giving local fans the opportunity to experience professional women’s softball in Round Rock.
The Volts opened their home schedule June 18 against the Utah Talons at Dell Diamond. Softball legend Cat Osterman serves as the Volts general manager, joining Head Coach Ricci Woodard (previously of Texas State) and recent University of Texas standout Mia Scott.

The Texas Volts is scheduled to play 13 home games at Dell Diamond, with the regular season running through July 20.
