The FM 3406 bridge over I-35 reopened the morning of Monday, June 25, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

The bridge reopened to eastbound and westbound traffic two months ahead of schedule.

Construction will continue on the north and southbound I-35 frontage roads in order to complete new U-turn bridges at the intersection this fall. Motorists should expect temporary lane shifts and reductions on the north and southbound frontage roads during this work.
