Vaccinations open to all Texans starting Monday, March 29

Texas continues to receive doses of COVID-19 vaccines, and is distributing statewide to hospitals, pharmacies, local health departments, freestanding emergency rooms and other clinics, according to Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). All adults will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine in Texas beginning Monday, March 29.

Williamson County with its partners Family Hospital Systems and Curative are operating COVID-19 vaccination sites in Williamson County. Family Hospital Systems will continue vaccinations of individuals in the priority groups by appointment only at the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex, 10211 W. Parmer Lane, Austin. Curative will vaccinate by appointment at the Dell Diamond, 3400 E. Palm Valley Blvd., and Georgetown ISD Athletic Complex, 2275 N. Austin Ave., GeorgetownPeople must first pre-register on the County’s centralized waitlist in order to receive an appointment.

Thousands of vaccinations are being administered daily at the three vaccination sites.

Williamson County has set up a call center to serve as a resource for residents interested in COVID-19 vaccine information. The call center number is 512-943-1600 and is answered from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
