Join the Round Rock Public Library for a Special Holiday Wellness Seminar on Sunday, December 7th from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.!
Feeling the holiday pressure instead of the holiday peace? The holidays are a time for joy, but for many, they bring a unique blend of stress—financial pressures, family dynamics, endless to-do lists, and social obligations. This year, give yourself the gift of resilience.
Join Xia Zeng, LAc, PT, for a transformative seminar that moves beyond generic advice and provides a practical, science-backed framework to navigate holiday stress from the inside out.
In this 90-minute workshop, you will learn to:
- IDENTIFY your unique holiday stressors using the Holmes-Rahe Life Stress Inventory. Go beyond vague feelings of being “stressed” and pinpoint the specific events that are impacting your nervous system.
- UNDERSTAND your body’s biological reaction to stress. Discover why you feel tense, irritable, or exhausted, and how chronic stress disrupts your body’s natural rhythms.
- RESET your body’s response using the “Bottom-Up” Method. We often try to “think” our way out of stress. You will learn powerful somatic techniques to calm your nervous system directly through the body, creating a foundation of safety and calm that makes mindful choices possible.
This seminar is for anyone who wants to reclaim the joy of the season and cultivate sustainable wellness practices that last long after the holidays are over.
