Whether you’re tucked into a blanket at home or perched in a chair at the airport, the holiday season is the perfect time to catch up on your reading. This year, the Round Rock Public Library invites you to join our Winter Reading Program.
It’s simple. From Monday, November 25 to Sunday, January 5, kids, teenagers, and adults alike can log their reading in our online portal, ReadSquared.
And you can read whatever you want! Books, audiobooks, graphic novels, magazines—if it’s got words, it counts. Read a picture book to your grandchild? Log it. Listened to a mystery in the car? Log it. Finally got your hands on a copy of Dog Man? Log it!
Plus, for every minute you read, you’ll earn one point toward a prize. Earn 300 points, and you’ll get to visit our Winter Reading Prize Shop! We’ve got stickers, coupons, and more.
The Prize Shop opens on Monday, December 2 and closes at 5 PM sharp on Sunday, January 5. Find it at the library’s third floor service desk. Don’t miss out!
To kick off the Winter Reading Program, we’ve teamed up with Round Rock Operation Blue Santa to support their annual toy drive.
Every year, Operation Blue Santa provides toys, food, and gift cards to more than 1,500 individuals in the Round Rock community. We’re proud to support this incredible nonprofit, now celebrating its 46th year in operation. We hope you’ll join us. Bring unused, unwrapped toys to the library between Friday, November 15 and Friday, December 13. Drop them off at our third floor service desk. We’ll pass them along to Operation Blue Santa, where they’ll be wrapped and distributed to families in need.
