Sandy Wittie is the current President of the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library. Wittie has been an active member of the Friends for 26-and-a-half years and has served on the Board for 26 years of those years. Wittie and her husband moved to Round Rock in 1996.

Our staff at RRPL fields an incredible variety of questions at each floor’s service desk. Some patrons need help figuring out a government website, others want to know how to edit a cat photo, and some need to find a book that teaches Japanese.
When the architects and building planners began the long, long process of designing our new library, they graciously made sure that library staff were usefully involved in those plans.

Round Rock’s new public library had its grand opening on January 28th, 2023.
