Round Rock ranks #11 among best U.S. cities for remote workers

It’s no secret that the age of telecommuting is here to stay. With more people than ever looking for ways to work remotely, many areas have gone into overdrive trying to keep up with the demand – including Central Texas!

With its mix of affordability, comfortability and top-tier internet speed, Round Rock has been named a prime city for remote workers in the U.S., placing 11th on RentCafe’s Top 50 Cities for Remote Workers list released last year. Coming close was Austin – just two spots below at 13th place due to the number of remote workers, average download speed, and the number of apartments with access to sports amenities.

Round Rock offers some great incentives to encourage residents to work and live in this vibrant area, making it an ideal spot not only for those who want a closer-knit community but also for anyone looking for the flexibility telecommuting provides.
