This expansion project of Gattis School Road will provide the 6-lane divided upgrade to the existing 4-lane facility as called for in the City’s Transportation Master Plan. This project specifically consists of two segments of Gattis School Rd that are known as Segment 4 & Segment 5. The limits of each segment are defined as Seg. 4 being approximately 0.59 miles East of Double Creek Drive to Kenney Fort Blvd and Seg. 5 from 0.27 miles East of Kenney Fort Blvd to Via Sonoma Trail. Proposed improvements for Segments 4 and 5 include: widening the existing four-lane roadway to a six-lane major divided arterial with raised medians, pedestrian improvements, and traffic signals at Round Rock Ranch Blvd (west) and Round Rock Ranch Blvd (east) / Meister Lane.
