Apply now for Operation Blue Santa

Round Rock Operation Blue Santa is now accepting applications to receive gifts as part of its 2022 toy drive. New this year is the ability to apply online, as well as in person. Online applications will be accepted beginning Tuesday, Nov. 1. In person applications will be accepted on select dates beginning Nov. 8. Hablamos Español. 2022 applications closed Dec. 9.

Applicants must be Round Rock residents. Accepted families receive gift cards and gifts for children ages 13 and under. Senior citizens are also eligible to receive gifts and gift cards. Gifts will be delivered on Dec. 16. More than 400 families and senior citizens received gifts in 2021.

There are many ways to contribute to Operation Blue Santa. Toy and monetary donations are accepted year-round. Toy donations can be dropped off at the Round Rock Police Department (2701 N Mays St) Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, as well as any Round Rock Fire Station from Nov. 1 to Dec. 9. You can also sign up to request a collection box for your business or organization.

Operation Blue Santa will also be fundraising at upcoming community events, including Round Rock Turkey Trot and Light Up the Lake. Other ways to help include “Adopt-a-Family” and volunteering in the Blue Santa warehouse.

Since 1978, Round Rock Operation Blue Santa has assisted thousands of Round Rock families and senior citizens in need. Operation Blue Santa is a nonprofit program supported and organized by the Round Rock Police Department. Together with donations from the community, this program helps those less fortunate to celebrate the magic of the holiday season.
