Central Texas Refuse announces changes to pickup days in various Round Rock neighborhoods

Central Texas Refuse, the primary garbage and recycling provider for City of Round Rock, has announced changes to the established pickup days in several neighborhoods. These modifications will take effect starting next week.

The decision to adjust the schedule comes as part of the provider’s commitment to maintaining efficient services across the company’s service areas.

To keep residents informed, flyers detailing the specific changes based on their location were placed on carts this week. Residents are encouraged to review these flyers to be aware of their new pickup days.

Below is a summary of the changes.

Eagle Ridge, Indian Ridge, Lakeside, Laurel Ridge, Meadow Lake, Round Rock Glen, Stoneybrook, The Settlement, Vista Heights, Zunker Meadows:

Your pickup service will move from Fridays to Thursdays. Additionally, there are changes to the recycle schedule. Starting Sept. 14, the bi-weekly recycling service and the weekly trash service will both be on Thursdays. The last day for trash and recycling on the current schedule is Sept. 8. The first day on the new schedule for both services will be Sept. 14.

Estates at Settlers Park, Madsen Ranch, Settler’s Crossing, Settler’s Overlook and Settler’s Overlook North:

While there are no changes to the garbage pickup day in your area, the recycle service will change from the B week schedule to the A week schedule. This change in the bi-weekly recycling service will begin on Sept. 15. The final recycling pickup on the current B week schedule will be on Sept. 8. Pickup on the new A week schedule will commence on Sept. 15.

Gardens at Mayfield Ranch:

Your pickup will move from Thursdays to Wednesdays. Additionally, there are changes to the recycle schedule. Starting Sept. 13, your trash and recycling service will both be on Wednesdays. The last day for trash on the current schedule is Sept. 7. The first day on the new schedule for both services will be Sept. 13.
