Round Rock water conservation program offering discounted rain barrels

While we may be experiencing a dry spell, now is the perfect time to prepare for the next rainy season (any day now!) with the City of Round Rock’s Rain Barrel Sale. The City of Round Rock’s Water Conservation Program is selling rain barrels at a discounted price to encourage residents to conserve water resources.

The 50-gallon, black barrels cost $77.50 each, and can be lowered even more to $52.40 after rebate for direct City of Round Rock water customers.

Barrels may be pre-ordered through Sept. 25 or until supplies last at rainbarrelprogram.org/roundrock for pickup from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 30 at the City of Round Rock Utility and Transportation Office (south side parking lot) located at 3400 Sunrise Rd.
