Get involved with your local government by serving on a board or commission

The City is currently accepting applications for boards and commissions.

Applications must be submitted to the City Clerk by 5 p.m. Monday, July 15. Appointments will be made by the City Council at their regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, Aug. 8.

Boards and commissions are a great way to get involved with local government and cover a wide variety of topics. Existing bodies include the Planning and Zoning Commission, Historic Preservation Commission, Transportation and Economic Development Corporation and Ethics Review Commission, among others. The Council reviews the Boards and Commissions each year and creates and dissolves them as needed.

Applicants must have been a resident of Round Rock for the last 12 consecutive months. For more information on requirements and to apply online, please visit the board and commission webpage.

Any questions may be directed to the City Clerk, Sara White, by email or by phone at 512-218-5404.
