At approximately 6:25 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, two passenger vehicles were involved in a fatal collision that occurred on E. Palm Valley Boulevard (U.S. 79) near Harrell Parkway, close to the Dell Diamond.

Irene Jean Edwards, 64, was found deceased on scene and Kate Lynn Edwards, 33, was transported to Seton Williamson with serious injuries and later pronounced deceased. Another passenger is in serious condition at a local hospital.

The investigation into the collision is still ongoing. Round Rock Police are seeking witnesses to the crash, and ask the public to call our non-emergency line at 512-218-5500 with information that will assist in the investigation.
