On Oct. 6, 2015, the Planning and Zoning Commission recognized the service of former Commission member Peter Drapes.

Drapes served on the Commission for 18 years, from 1996 to 2014, a period of rapid growth and expansion for the city. The Commission noted Drapes’ calm demeanor and ability to consider input from both citizens and members of the development community. Drapes was able to balance neighborhood concerns with the City’s long range economic development goals.

The Commission and City thank Drapes for his outstanding public service and dedication to making Round Rock a more livable community.
