Police seek assistance identifying armed robbery suspect

The Round Rock Police Department is seeking the help of the public identifying a suspect involved in a local robbery.

On Saturday, Feb. 7 at 7:33 p.m. officers responded to a convenience store near the 1700 block of N. Mays Street where a robbery had just occurred. A male suspect entered the store, displayed a weapon to the clerk, and demanded money. The suspect is described as a black male  5 feet, 8 inches to 6 feet tall, 150-180 pounds, between 20-30 years of age. The suspect has dreadlocks, a goatee, and was wearing red athletic shoes. The suspect fled the scene in a silver, newer model, 4-door sedan described to be a higher end luxury car.
