Frank Leffingwell was sworn in Thursday, Feb. 12, following his victory in a special election held Jan. 24 to fill the Place 3 vacancy on the Round Rock City Council.
The City Council finalized the results following a Feb. 2 canvass of the election.
The vacancy was created when Joe Clifford resigned from the City Council in November to move to Houston to be closer to family.
The Place 3 term expires in May.
