Red Cross opening Multi-Agency Resource Center in Taylor

The American Red Cross, the City of Taylor, Williamson County and Central Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (VOAD) are joining forces with more than a dozen other agencies to open a Multi-Agency Resource Center for anyone impacted by the severe storms and flooding. At the resource center, people can sit down one-on-one with Red Cross workers to begin their recovery process, plus meet other relief organizations offering recovery assistance.

Location: Taylor City Hall
400 Porter Street
Taylor, TX 76574

Dates: Friday, June 5 (5-9 p.m.)
Saturday, June 6 (9 a.m.-3p.m.)

Recovering from a disaster can be a confusing process and it’s not always easy for people to find the help they need. The resource centers will bring all of the nonprofit organizations and government agencies together in one convenient location to provide support. Clean up supplies, hot meals, emotional counseling and health services will also be available at the resource center.
