Oh say can you sing?!
Each season, the Round Rock Express audition numerous individuals and groups to perform the Star Spangled Banner during their 71 home game dates. This year, auditions are being held in the United Heritage Conference Center at Dell Diamond on Wednesday, Feb. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Those seeking to audition must meet the following guidelines:
- Performance must be kept under 90 seconds
- All vocal submissions must be a capella; instrumental auditions are welcome
- Song should be performed traditional, military-style with little to no creative variation (this song is a tribute to our country)
- Must sing from memory (reading lyrics will not be allowed during audition or gameday performance)
