ROUND ROCK, Texas – Round Rock Parks and Recreation has opened new pickleball courts at the Adult Recreation Complex in Old Settlers Park, adding dedicated space for one of the country’s fastest-growing sports and giving residents more room to play, practice and connect.
The new courts expand recreation options at Old Settlers Park and are built to serve a wide range of players, from beginners learning the game to regulars looking for consistent court time. With dedicated courts and additional space, the improvement is intended to support day-to-day play while strengthening the park’s role as a hub for active lifestyles and community gathering.
Pickleball’s popularity has surged in recent years, and Parks and Recreation said the new courts are a direct response to increased demand from residents. The department expects the courts to be a go-to amenity for friendly matches, fitness-focused play and social recreation.
The Adult Recreation Complex is part of Old Settlers Park, one of Round Rock’s largest and most active park destinations. The new courts join other amenities that make the park a frequent stop for sports, outdoor activities and community events.
