Round Rock Parks and Recreation’s Marketing Division wins two national awards

Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department Marketing Division won two Silver Telly Awards for excellence in video and television production across all screens.  A Silver Telly was awarded for the “AIR Power Soccer Team” Love Your Park in the Online Not-for-profit & Fundraising Category and a Silver Telly was awarded for the “Texas Blue Jay Project” Love Your Park in the Social Video Education & Discovery Category.

 The Telly Awards, the world’s largest honor for video and television content across all screens, announced this year’s winners, including a variety of top-tier brands and organizations as well as smaller media companies such as ViacomCBS, Warner Bros. Worldwide TV Marketing, Sony Music Entertainment, Microsoft, ESPN, PBS Digital Studios, Mytonomy, Freethink, Nice Shoes, CTRL5, Feed the Children, Square, Crunchyroll and Fast Company. This year’s edition saw an increase in global submissions from Australia, Mexico, across Europe (Germany, Spain, France) and Asia (Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan).

“Now, more than ever, it is necessary to celebrate video work that reflects the top tier of our industry, such as Round Rock Parks and Recreation,” says Telly Awards Executive Director Sabrina Dridje. “This year’s submissions reflect an industry that has returned to the important work of storytelling, one that has returned with a new perspective that values innovation, agility, equity, and tenacious creativity.”

Last year, The Telly Awards attracted more than 12,000 entries from top video content producers including Netflix, Jennifer Garner, HBO Latin America, Microsoft, RadicalMedia, Condé Nast, Adobe, Nickelodeon, and Partizan.
