Round Rock seeks input on existing and future needs for public transportation

The City of Round Rock is working on a Transit Development Plan to address the City’s rise in population and transit ridership. The plan aims to attract new riders, improve existing routes and increase efficiency. The plan will serve as a guide for developing the future of public transportation in Round Rock over the next 10 years and will make recommendations for updates and additional services to improve the existing transit system.

Round Rock is seeking input from all residents, whether they currently use the existing public transportation system or not, to help guide recommendations and improvement concepts.

Participate online

You can take a five-minute survey today at publicinput.com/RRTransitSurvey to tell the City how you use the existing public transportation system and how it can be improved. If you don’t use the existing system, let the City know what can be done to make it more appealing for you. The survey is open through Friday, Oct. 1.

For more information visit roundrocktexas.gov/transitplan or reach out to Transit Coordinator Edna Johnson at 512-671-2869 or RoundRockTransit@publicinput.com.

Attend a Public Workshop

The City held two public workshops in early September to share information and collect feedback on existing services and needs. Those materials are available at roundrocktexas.gov/transitplan through Friday, Oct. 1. Stay tuned for another public workshop this winter.
