Significant traffic shift planned at A.W. Grimes and Gattis School Road intersection April 1-2

A significant traffic shift is planned for April 1-2 at the intersection of A.W. Grimes Boulevard and Gattis School Road.

Over the two days, traffic will be shifted to the north side of the roadway to facilitate construction on the south side. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to avoid the area if possible.

The work is part of the Gattis School Road Segment 3 project, which will widen the roadway from four to six lanes. The project is expected to be completed by early fall 2026.
