Storm debris pickups completed in affected neighborhoods

UPDATE: The City of Round Rock has completed coordinated storm debris pickup efforts, and is asking any residents with debris that does not fit in their regular garbage containers to request a residential brush pickup from the City (fee applies), bulky item pickup from Central Texas Refuse (fee applies) or participate in the City’s free Spring Clean-Up bulk item pickup event.

The City of Round Rock, with the help of solid waste provider Central Texas Refuse (CTR), has removed over 100 loads of storm debris from neighborhoods impacted by the March 21 tornado. The City and CTR are removing roll-off dumpsters from the neighborhoods and will conduct storm debris pickups using rear-load trash trucks in affected neighborhoods on Saturday, April 2 and Saturday, April 9.

Residents who received tornado damage to their property in these neighborhoods are asked to either stack their storm-related debris at the curb or place the debris in their residential trash can at the curb, and fill out the form below to request pickup.

CTR will only pick up storm-damaged exterior items such as fencing, brush, sheds, outdoor furniture and toys, limited roofing debris (shingles, plywood, etc.) and rain gutters.

CTR cannot pick up housing-related items such as roofing, drywall, indoor children’s toys, indoor furniture, appliances, roof trusses, large section of shingles, carpet and flooring and household hazardous waste. These items will not be picked up during these cleanup efforts. For more information about the City’s next bulk item pickup event, visit roundrocktexas.gov/springclean.
