UIL Cross Country State Championships return to Round Rock on Nov. 4

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) Cross Country State Championships return to the Sports Capital of Texas and Old Settlers Park from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. The park will be closed for all other activities until 5 p.m.

There are over 1,800 qualifying athletes spanning the 1A to 6A divisions from all over the state of Texas, including eight in the boys and girls 6A divisions right here in Round Rock. Athletes will be competing in the 3,200-meter and 5k courses circling Bright Lake in Old Settlers Park.

Public entrance and parking for the event is at the Dell Diamond, where shuttles will be provided to transport spectators to the course. Tickets to the event will be sold on-site for $10 per adult and $7 per youth over the age of five, and parking at the Dell Diamond is $5. Only cash will be accepted for payment, and ATMs are not available at the event.

For those unable to attend, it will be live-streamed on the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Network starting at 8:30 a.m.
