The Water Spot

Water Research Survey

Residents of Round Rock (everyone with a Round Rock address), your participation is crucial!

Round Rock is delighted to be chosen as one of 45 cities to participate in a nationwide study on water use at residential properties.    Your input will aid in future water infrastructure planning and water conservation efforts.

  • It’s easy.  The survey takes about 5 minutes.
  • There’s approximately 30 multiple choice questions.
  • Most questions ask about the residence itself (# residents, # toilets, # faucets, etc.)
  • A few questions about the water bill (who pays it)
  • It is completely anonymous.  Round Rock staff will not receive any individual responses from this survey.

SURVEY LINK IS HERE.

The study, called the Residential End Uses of Water Study (REUWS), is commissioned by The Water Research Foundation.  Their researchers will have access to and use the survey data for their analysis of water trends across the USA.  Round Rock will receive a compiled report on our resident’s responses at the end of the study period.

The survey closes on March 31, 2025.
