Athletic Leagues

The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department offers athletic leagues and programs for adults and youth throughout the entire year.

Adult Leagues:


Adult Mens Basketball League

Grab a group of friends or co-workers and come join our Men’s Basketball Leagues! These leagues are a great way to socialize while staying in shape. We offer Men’s Low League (for lower level teams) and Men’s Open League (for more competitive teams) on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons at the Clay Madsen Recreation Center. Each team is guaranteed 8 games. The top four (4) teams will play in an end of the season tournament to declare a league winner.

Adult Cornhole League

Grab a couple of your buddies and put your cornhole skills to the test! Our Cornhole Leagues consist of 8 games with CoRec divisional play on Tuesday or Thursday evenings. Games are played at the Adult Recreation Complex in Old Settlers Park. 2 players per roster.

Adult Pickleball League

Come out and try some pickleball! The City of Round Rock will offer an adult pickleball in CoRec doubles competitive and leisure formats. You must have a complete team to register. All games will be self officiated and teams are asked to bring their own balls and paddles (nets will be provided).

Adult Sand Volleyball League

Come out and try some sand volleyball! The City of Round Rock will offer an adult sand volleyball in CoRec four-person competitive and leisure formats. You must have a complete team to register. All games will be self officiated and teams are asked to bring their own equipment. 

Adult Softball League

Our Fall/Winter Leagues consist of a 6-game season with Men’s and CoRec divisions available. The Spring leagues consist of 8 games. Season ending awards will be given to each championship team. Games are played at F7 and F8 of the Adult Recreation Complex.

Youth Leagues:


Youth Basketball League

Our basketball league is for kids ages 5-14 (age of current school year). We will be looking for volunteer coaches for this program. ****Practices could be any day of the week (6p-8p) and games could be between the times of 8a-7p on Saturdays. Location could be any of the RRISD schools or CMRC. Practice will begin early December. 

Youth Soccer League

The Round Rock Parks and Recreation Soccer League is designed to introduce youngsters to the basic game of soccer. This league will focus on developing skills, team play, basic rules of the game, socialization and having fun. Practices will be held once a week and games will be played on Saturdays. *Due to field maintenance in the Fall, practices may move locations and days, and games may be played during the week, in addition to Saturdays. Fee will include a uniform top and bottom, pictures, medals and game officials. Boys and girls will play together in small-sided games in U4 (3 to 4 years), U6 (5 to 6 years), U8 (7 to 8 years), U10 (9 to 10 years), and U12 (11 to 12 years). Age is based on their birth year (Fall age as of 12/31/23 | Spring U4 age as of 06/01/24, all other Spring divisions 12/31/24). 

Youth Track and Field League

Come join the Round Rock Trackers Track and Field Team! This is a summer youth track and field program for boys and girls ages 5-18 that will emphasize athletic development in a fun environment. The goal of the program is to teach the basic principles of track and field, sportsmanship, and to expose participants to competition through scheduled meets. Beginners and seasoned athletes are welcome.

Youth Girls Volleyball League

Be a part of a league that teaches fundamentals and good sportsmanship as we strive towards excellence. This league is for girls ages 7-14 years as of 09/01/23. Practices and games will be held at local RRISD school gyms and the Clay Madsen Recreation Center. Fee includes a uniform top, gym fees, pictures, medal, and game officials. There are two levels of play: Division I(for teams with six or more girls requesting to play together) and Division II (five or less girls requesting to play together, plus randomly assigned single players). U12 Division I will play in an Open division, including U14 Division II. Division II players requesting to play up an age division will need to be age 8, 10 or 12 as of 09/01/23, and must attend player evaluations prior to the start of practices. Division I players may play up at the head coach’s discretion. All players should register in their natural age division prior to inquiring about moving up an age division.
