Shaylah Dame Skate Park

The City of Round Rock Skate Park is getting a facelift! The Shaylah Dame Skate Park will be temporarily closed Monday, Aug. 19, until end of September for renovation. Renovations include filling cracks, fixing spalling concrete in the bowl element, replacing coping, painting handrails, and more. We hope to have you back to shredding ASAP! We’ll keep you posted with updates on our website and social media channels.


Location:
The 14,000 square foot Shaylah Dame Skate Park is located at 1600 Gattis School Road behind the Clay Madsen Recreation Center. There is a bowl and and street component. Admission is free. Skate Park

Hours of Operation
6 am – 11 pm daily

Park Information
This is YOUR park. Please respect it and keep it clean.  Destruction of the park, fences, and other park amenities is unlawful and will result in closure of the skate park.

Please dispose of your trash in the trash receptacles provided; if litter continues to be left on the ground around the skate park, the Parks & Recreation Department will close the park to the public. The City has provided one recycling receptacle at the South end of the park near the gate — please recycle aluminum and plastics!

Electricity to the lights is available from 6 a.m. – 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.
