The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) will be conducting an annual assessment of the Round Rock Police Department and its Training Academy in November to ensure the department meets the highest standards in public safety. 

The Round Rock Police Department has held accreditation through CALEA since 2004 and for its Training Academy since 2020.

The overall intent of the public portal and accreditation process is to provide the Round Rock Police Department with information to support continuous improvement, as well as foster the pursuit of professional excellence.
