As October starts, Round Rock is gearing up for fall festivities and community engagement, kicking off with the highly anticipated Round Rock Arts Fest and Chalk Walk.

Round Rock Arts Fest and Chalk Walk
Friday, Oct. 6 from 2-8 p.m.
Saturday, Oct. 7 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Round Rock is gearing up once again to host the area’s largest and most popular free festival. The Round Rock Arts Fest and Chalk Walk, held at the Dell Diamond Northwest Parking Lot Area, promises a weekend of artistic wonder. Hundreds of talented chalk artists, vendors, sponsors, and local and regional musicians.  

Enjoy captivating performances, savor delectable foods and drinks, and bring the whole family to explore the children’s area. It’s a vibrant celebration of art, music, and community spirit that you won’t want to miss. 

Fill the Cop Car
Saturday, Oct. 14, Noon – 6 p.m.

The Round Rock Police Department joins forces with the U.S. Army to host “Fill the Cop Car.” This annual food drive benefits the Round Rock Area Serving Center, emphasizing the city’s commitment to helping those in need. 

Round Rock Diwali Festival
Saturday, Oct. 28, 2:30 p.m. – 10 p.m.

The 8th annual Round Rock Diwali Festival, also known as the “Festival of Lights” will be held in Downtown Round Rock. This event welcomes everyone to enjoy Diwali’s cultural richness with various activities and entertainment. It’s a perfect way to enjoy community togetherness and festivity. 

Music on Main
Now through Nov. 16, 7-9 p.m.

The City of Round Rock presents Music on Main, featuring free live music on Wednesdays from 7-9 p.m. on the Prete Main Street Plaza stage from Sept. 27 to Nov. 15. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and the entire family. There will be face painting, balloon artists, free parking and more! Be sure to check out our lunchtime series in the Downtown Parklets every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Oct. 3 – Nov. 16, rotating between seating areas along East Main Street.

Round Rock PopUp Art Shows
Oct. 28 & Nov. 18, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Come shop for original artwork and art gifts from local and area artists. We’ll present a dozen-plus artists at each event! While visiting Downtown Round Rock for our event, we hope you enjoy local cafes, eateries and shops/services.

Veterans Day Celebration
Friday, Nov. 10, starting at 3 p.m. – 9 p.m.

Our Veterans Day Celebration begins at 3 p.m. with our military & first responders static vehicle display along with veteran-owned businesses, vendors who will be offering services to our Veterans, family activities, food trucks, LIVE music and more! The City of Round Rock will have our formal ceremony at 5:45 p.m. at Flag Plaza with Round Rock Mayor & City Council Members, Stony Point JROTC, and guest speakers from our military branches. 

Dia de los Muertos Festival
Saturday, November 4
, 12 to 9 p.m.

This family-friendly event will feature live music, cultural performances, tasty food, vendor booths, crafts for children, and more. Festival goers will have the opportunity to compete in various contests. Sponsors make this fantastic event possible, and proceeds from this activation will benefit Round Rock Ballet Folklorico.
