City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission to begin meetings at 6 p.m.

Change to take place beginning this month

The Round Rock City Council and the City Planning and Zoning Commission will begin meeting in regular sessions at 6 p.m. starting this October. Previously, both boards met in regular session beginning at 7 p.m.

The earlier start time is intended to make the meetings more accessible to the public.

The Historic Preservation Commission, which had been meeting in regular session at 5:45 p.m., will also move to a 6 p.m. start time.
