Round Rock city pools re-open for the 2026 season 

Feeling the Texas heat? Relief is just around the corner! City of Round Rock’s pools are opening for the summer this weekend. For complete information on Round Rock pools, visit roundrocktexas.gov/pools.  

Rock’N River Water Park and Micki Krebsbach Pool are both open for the summer on Friday, May 22. Lake Creek Pool follows suit on Saturday, May 23.  

Rock’N River is reopening for the 2026 season at nearly twice its former size, with the addition of a man-made river, cabanas with a private pool and added parking. The expansion was among projects in the voter-approved 2023 general obligation bond package.  


Rock’N River Water Park

800 Harrell Parkway (Old Settlers Park) 

  • Memorial Day Weekend hours: Noon to 6 p.m., May 22 through May 26 
  • Regular summer hours: Noon to 7 p.m., May 28 through Aug. 15 (closed each Wednesday)  
  • End of summer hours: Noon to 6 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays only from Aug. 16 through Sept. 6 

Admission Prices

  • Daily Admission
    • $6 — Children 2 and under
    • $18 — Youth (ages 3-17) and seniors (age 50+)
    • $20 — Adults
    • Twilight Discount Admission (5 p.m. to closing): Half off regular daily admission; Tickets available onsite only
  • Season passes*:
    • $65 — Individual pass for youth (3-17 years) and seniors (age 50+)
    • $75 — Individual pass for adult season passes
    • $245 — Family of 4 (up to 2 adults, immediate family only)
    • $260 — Family of 5 (up to 2 adults, immediate family only)
    • $275 — Family of 6 (up to 2 adults, immediate family only)

Rates for 2026 increased due to the recent new expansion including a 775-foot action river with wave features, additional private cabanas, expanded shade areas, increased parking and other park enhancements. The improvements also increased the park’s overall capacity. Cabanas, tables and other amenities are now available for rental.


Micki Krebsbach Pool

  • Memorial Day Weekend hours: 1-6 p.m., May 22 through May 25 
  • Regular summer hours: 1-7 p.m. May 27 through Aug. 16 (closed each Tuesday)  

Admission Prices

  • $4 — Youth (ages 3-17) and seniors (age 50+)
  • $5 — Adults

Built in 1996, Micki Krebsbach sits adjacent to Round Rock High School. The tree-lined facility is known for its 26-foot long by 23-foot high pirate ship aquatic playground, water slide and crate walk as well as dedicated swim lanes. Shaded areas are available for rental as well.  


Lake Creek Pool

  • Memorial Day Weekend hours: 1-5 p.m., May 23 through May 25 
  • Regular summer hours (May 30-Aug. 14): 
    • 1-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays
    • 1-7 p.m. Fridays through Sundays
    • Closed Mondays

Admission Prices

  • $1 — Youth (ages 3-17) and seniors (age 50+)
  • $2 — Adults

The city’s oldest municipal pool, Lake Creek, offers lap swimming and a wading pool. Situated near Downtown in Lake Creek Park, the pool is located near sports fields, basketball courts, inline hockey area and the Dog Depot dog park. Picnic tables, grills, restrooms, parking and playscapes are also available in the park.  


Don’t forget: The Clay Madsen Recreation Center has an indoor pool open year-round, and Prete Plaza in Downtown Round Rock includes a water fountain feature. For more information about pools, rental rates and season passes, visit roundrocktexas.gov/pools.
