Round Rock launches new utility billing system

The City of Round Rock implemented a new utility billing payment system on Monday, Aug. 29, with a new online portal that can be accessed at roundrocktexas.gov/paymybill.

The new system will provide a better payment experience and more payment options for customers. In addition to existing payment methods, the following new payment options are now available:

  • American Express
  • Discover
  • PayPal
  • Walmart Pay
  • eCheck

The new online portal replaces the previous portal located at rrtxwater.com. The RRTXWater app is also no longer active.

If you are an auto-pay customer, this upgrade will require you to register an account with a new username and password and to re-establish your recurring auto-pay information by clicking “Pay Your Utility Bill Online” at roundrocktexas.gov/paymybill. To protect the security of your encrypted financial information, the City of Round Rock cannot transfer your current payment information to the new portal. If you do not register on the new payment portal, your auto-payment will not process for future payments.

This change does NOT impact customers paying by phone, in person, by ACH draft, through bank bill pay, one-time online payments or via mail. However, all customers can register through the new portal to store payment information and view bills online.

To learn more and to visit the new online portal, visit roundrocktexas.gov/paymybill.
