Round Rock takes first place in Super Guard Competition

Lifeguards from the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department Aquatics Team took first place at the 36th Annual Super Guard Competition at Adamson Lagoon in College Station this summer.

The event identifies the “best of the best” in lifeguarding from across the state through team scenarios that encompass first aid, CPR, spinal rescues, active and passive guest rescues and individual skills.

More than 22 teams across the state took part in this prestigious competition.

2018 rankings:
1st Place – City of Round Rock Aquatics Team
2nd Place – Schlitterbahn
3rd Place – The Woodlands
