A portion of the Creekside Loop Trail at Old Settlers Park has been closed temporarily due to construction related to the Harrell Parkway road project.

Construction is expected to continue through the remainder of 2026, with the trail reopening shortly afterward, in January 2027.

As part of this work, the roadway and trail will be elevated outside of the Chandler Branch floodplain, creating a safer and more accessible experience for pedestrians in the future.
