Winner of quilt raffle announced

Raffle funds will benefit Library youth programs

Congratulations to Becky Horowitz, winner of the Friends of the Round Rock Public Library’s quilt raffle. The Friends raised more than $800 in ticket sales.

About the Quilt

A lap sized appliqued quilt full of puns, color and movement created by Dale Ricklefs. Can one find where there is a pun about Divergent? How about Thirteen Reasons Why? Bone City? Some puns are obvious, one or two are a bit more obscure. Special thanks to Dale Ricklefs

About the Friends

The Friends of the Round Rock Public Library, 501(c)(3) provide funding and manpower to enhance Round Rock Public Library services to library users. They build library support among community members through events such as the Summer Reading Program, a monthly November membership program, and the Mystery Night community fundraiser usually held in the Spring. They also raise funds through an ongoing used book sale.
