City offices will be closed for Independence Day

City offices, including the LibraryClay Madsen Recreation Center, Allen R. Baca CenterMunicipal Court and Utility Billing Office will be closed Monday, July 4, in honor of Independence Day. Utility bills and court-related fines can be paid online. The library’s outdoor book drop will also be closed – no items will have a due date of July 4.

The City, in conjunction with Round Rock Sertoma, will host a July Fourth Parade in Downtown Round Rock beginning at 10 a.m. Monday. In addition to the parade, the annual Frontier Days Celebration will kick off at 12 p.m. in Old Settlers Park, and include everything from a pepper eating contest to carnival rides, swine races, movies in the park and, of course, the traditional fireworks display.
