Employee Spotlight: Jaceline Fisher, Community Affairs Specialist

The Round Rock Police Department (RRPD) aims to provide public safety and promote a high quality of life in alliance with our community, and the department’s Community Affairs Unit is an important provider of programs and events that empower residents to support each other for a safer community.

Jaceline Fisher is a true ambassador of that mission in her role as a civilian Community Affairs Specialist, and her passion for the work she does is evident through the smile that she sports at the Department’s many events.

“What I like most about my job is engaging with the public; speaking to them, educating them with the programs we offer here at the Police Department, and finding out what we as a Police Department can do for them.”

Fisher is a member of the Round Rock Operation Blue Santa committee, which is a program that delivers toys and food to families in need during the holiday season. Other programs led by the Community Affairs Division include:

Back to School Celebration

This free event provides school supplies, vision and hearing screening, sports physicals, food, games, and other attractions.

Junior Police Academy

A nationwide program emphasizing community responsibility among young citizens and public servants.

Citizen Police Academy

This free 12-week program gives community members opportunities to experience life as a police officer.

National Night Out

A community-building campaign promoting police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

Ensure secure delivery of your packages by shipping them to the Round Rock Police Department. You can then pick them up from the PD and have one less thing to worry about.
